Convert Markdown (Original)
to PDF

Looking for a free text converter? Look no more, upload your original unextended Markdown files and convert them to PDF files. Yes, it’s that easy.

Converting from original unextended Markdown

The original unextended Markdown is based on the syntax outlined in John Gruber’s original design document. It already has many elements, but missed features like tables, code blocks, syntax highlighting, URL auto-linking and footnotes. Things that most of us take for granted today. I don’t know why anyone would stick with the original Markdown format, but I guess it’s something for purists. Or maybe you have a legacy system that only supports the original Markdown format. Anyway, have fun and convert to or from the strict version, the original Markdown format. We are happy to support the free conversion from and to it.

The files end with .md by default.

Converting to PDF

Hey, Portable Document Format. What a name. Sounds like other files are not … portable? It’s old, but it works everywhere. Convert your files to PDF and you can be sure it’ll work somehow, even if the person you’re emailing this is 150 years old and has never used a PC before. To be honest, there are tons of PDF converters online, but this might be the only one that’s free and doesn’t have ads. Sounds good to you? Good luck with your file! We’ll do our best to convert it to PDF, for free. If you’re not happy with the result, I don’t know if we can do something about that though. I mean, it’s free at least, right?

The files end with .pdf by default. More about PDF files
